Definitely! Everything we teach you in the class is extremely practical and what Korean natives use themselves. You will be trained in all aspects of language mastery namely reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

The course will start from zero, you don’t need to know how to read or anything. You only need the internet connection and you’re good to go!

Any instructor assigned to you is a proficient Korean speaker who has completed Korean language studies up to Level 6 and has a minimum of four years of experience learning and using the Korean language. All instructors also undergo training before conducting classes to ensure they are well-prepared to guide and support you throughout your learning journey.

Our syllabus is based on the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) standard, which provides you with a strong foundation in Korean and can give you an advantage when pursuing opportunities involving the Korean language.

However, if you plan to further your studies or career in Korea, you may be required to obtain an official Korean language proficiency qualification, such as a TOPIK certificate, depending on the institution, employer, or visa requirements.

We recommend discussing your specific goals with your instructor, who can advise you on the appropriate Korean proficiency level and pathway for your intended study or career plans.

Not necessarily. Our students come from different backgrounds and have different goals. Some study Korean as a hobby, while others may be learning for travel, personal interest or career purposes.

However, by the end of the course term, students who successfully complete the program should be equipped with the knowledge and skills corresponding to Level 1 based on the TOPIK standard. The actual TOPIK score each student achieves can still vary depending on their individual study time, previous language-learning experience, practice and examination performance.

No, you will be paying the tuition fee in advance before attending the course. You can also pay monthly in instalments to make it easier for you.

The program does not include the TOPIK examination or separate TOPIK certificate preparation. However, our course syllabus is structured based on the TOPIK standard, so the knowledge and skills you learn will help prepare you for the examination.

We recommend completing at least Level 2 before taking your first TOPIK I examination. Once you have completed Level 2, we can also guide you through the TOPIK registration process.

Yes. The program starts from Level 0, followed by Level 1. After completing Level 1, we will assess the students’ interest and conduct a voting/registration process to determine whether there is sufficient demand to open the next higher Level group.

Please note that the standard tuition fee rate is approximately RM5,000-RM6,000 per level/term in most schools. The online group class is offered on a cost-sharing basis, allowing us to provide a significantly lower tuition fee for students who are able to learn together in a group.

For part-time learning, we estimate that it will take approximately one year to complete each level. If your goal is to reach Level 4 and above, we generally recommend progressing through Level 3 over approximately three years through part-time study to naturally pick up the language comfortably.

For the higher levels (Levels 4, 5 and 6), learners are generally categorised as higher-intermediate to advanced, serious learners. Therefore, we recommend considering more intensive study. For example, you could take intensive Korean language training at an offline institution or through private tutoring from our academy.

Full-time intensive learning may require approximately 20–40 hours per week, and with sufficient commitment, it may be possible to complete each higher level in around four months. After reaching a higher level, you may then consider taking the TOPIK II examination to formally assess your Korean proficiency.

If your main goal is specifically to reach TOPIK Level 4 for career purposes, we would recommend planning your Korean studies as a longer-term pathway rather than relying solely on a 1-year program.

Some of our students have successfully obtained jobs using our course certificate and, more importantly, by demonstrating their actual Korean language ability during interviews.

However, this ultimately depends on the employer and the specific position. Many companies may specifically request an official TOPIK certificate/result when hiring for Korean-speaking positions. Therefore, if your long-term goal is to build a career using Korean, we still strongly recommend taking the TOPIK examination in addition to completing our course.

We believe AI will continue to change the language and translation industry, but it does not necessarily mean that human language skills are becoming irrelevant. AI tools can help with translation, drafting, vocabulary, grammar explanations and productivity.

However, strong Korean proficiency is still important because professionals need to be able to understand context, cultural nuances, tone, intent and potential errors in AI-generated translations. In our view, the most valuable skill going forward is not simply being able to translate manually or simply knowing how to use AI, but being able to combine strong language fundamentals with AI tools effectively. If you’re someone pursuing a career in Korean-related work, we would therefore recommend building a solid foundation in Korean first and then learning how to use AI as a productivity tool. This combination can help you adapt as the industry continues to evolve.
